In collaboration with the city of Rottweil, NMY is developing an augmented reality app that turns exploring the city in its anniversary year into a digital multimedia experience.

An augmented reality app enriches reality with a multimedia experience and extends digital knowledge formats in city marketing.
Rottweil combines old and new: Iconic landmarks such as the thyssenkrupp Test Tower, Germany's highest viewing platform (232 meters), are being built alongside historic buildings. NMY conveys the city's history and future in a compact discovery app.
Visitors use a mobile device to move through a digital model of the city. With augmented reality, they discover Rottweil from many perspectives, learn more about historic buildings and Rottweil's impressive lookout towers, from which they can enjoy a photo-realistic 360-degree panoramic view.
3D model, text, image, video, 360-degree media: our app seamlessly switches between knowledge formats and combines them into one big story - even beyond the anniversary. The 3D model of the city can be updated and new content can be added. The app is the starting point for Rottweil's 3D marketing.
Diversity of perspectives - Interested parties discover Rottweil via AR technology from many perspectives
Time travel - The digital city tour combines tradition and future - in terms of content and technology.
Intuitive multimedia - One app for all formats: AR tour, texts, images, videos and 360-degree media merge into an easy-to-use digital experience.
Future-proof - The digitized 3D model of the city serves as the basis for future marketing campaigns in the app, on the web or via AR and VR.
“NMY created an impressive AR app for us that is already delighting users as an interface between the past and the future. With turmFEST2017 we opened the new thyssenkrupp test tower and at the same time we wanted to make the city of towers, as Rottweil is also called, a digital experience for visitors. We are convinced that we have succeeded in doing so with this app. We are already looking forward to the further development of our application and the future collaboration with NMY. ”
“Mobile devices combined with augmented reality are the perfect solution for digital city tours: Interested people stroll digitally on screen through a 3D model of the city. Or they walk through actual streets with their mobile device, where digital experiences await them. ”
