Client for this interactive exhibit is the ovag Energie AG, a modern energy & utility company from upper Hesse that supplies round about 200.000 customers with electricity, heat and water.

MISSION LEARN PLAYFUL HOW ENERGY COMES INTO THE POWER PLUG

Since beginning of 2014 the public limes information center “Hof Grass” serves as interactive meeting point for customer encounters and informations - especially for younger visitor groups like school classes and children. For this purpose the technical center is used as a kind of digital showroom that covers all topics and aspects around “ENERGY”.

APPROACH CENTREPIECE MULTI-TOUCH TABLE

Next to other interesting exhibits the heart of the technical center is a 1.5m x 2.0m large multi-touch table. On its surface the visitor can see and interact with a miniaturized and animated 3D worlds that picturize matters such as electricity, water, renewable energies & nature protection - and what the ovag group contributes to these matters.

SOLUTION MULTIPLE USERS, INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION

Separated in the different subjects – each topic on a single side of the multi touch table – visitors discover fascinating processes and exciting information about state-of-the-art production of energy. How does the water cycle work? And moch more. All these and even more questions are communicated with interactive 3D animations, illustrations and info menus, which replenish the large amount of information digitally via an easy user interface and a large and colourful screen display. The application was especially designed for many users in parallel, so becoming a place interaction and communication itself.
