Global rollout of XR technologies at Hilti

NMY develops customized XR technologies for Hilti and integrates them seamlessly into their global business activities and operations. The first project is a virtual reality fire safety training, a training solution used worldwide and tailored to the specific conditions and needs of each local Hilti customer.

Beyond the implemented application, Hilti benefits from NMY's strategic consulting. In particular, the optimization of operations and the provision of a suitable operator concept are a challenge both for newcomers and for organizations whose resources have not yet been adapted to the new technologies. NMY provides Hilti with a seamless end-to-end solution, preceded by a comprehensive roadmap with Hilti stakeholders.

NMY implements a VR training for the Fire Protection business unit as the first project. The training is designed as blended learning (classroom and e-learning) and complements the on-site training program with immersive and interactive content that cannot be implemented in traditional teaching formats, whether for cost or safety reasons.

Hilti's multilingual VR training provides practical knowledge of building code requirements and permits. Participants learn best practices for fire safety solutions in interactive, realistic scenarios.

NMY implements a comprehensive content and digital 3D asset management system for Hilti to securely manage, update and deliver all digital assets.

Thanks to the asset management systems, Hilti can flexibly and individually change, expand and scale the VR training modules, for example to adapt them to current standards and regulations. NMY ensures seamless integration with the company's existing IT infrastructure.

NMY manages the worldwide logistics of XR hardware for Hilti. Each location can request the required VR hardware online and receive a pre-configured device within a short time. Hilti relies on NMY's Mobile Device Management for smooth operation without additional in-house IT resources.

A “train the trainer” concept ensures the safe and secure use of XR technologies at Hilti and its customers. NMY is the point of contact for all IT and training issues, providing 1st and 2nd level support.

In addition to resolving IT and training issues, NMY is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous optimization of the XR technologies, infrastructure, and training content.
