Photo-realistic 3D Animations for Infomercial
Mission:
Conceptualization and realization of a state of the art film that gives an overview over the EADS product range in the field of unmanned drones. The film had to be of the highest standard to impress the viewer with the EADS product range and to inform about the systems’ individual features.
Realization:
It was soon clear that there was no adequate original film material to work with. According to the concept we came up with a picture-based overview of the different products that were shown in dynamic film sequences, motion graphics and text animations. The client was presented with a sound based animatic film and could then request changes. The 3 minute film consists of 3D works in photorealistic quality. The artists had to create new 3D data on the basis of original CAD data. In the compositing process the finished 3D animations were seamlessly joined with previously rendered background films. When the online editing process, the color correction and the sound design were complete, the film was finally debuted after four months of production time.
Result:
The film will be shown at trade shows and presentations. Its high quality captures the attention and leaves a long lasting impression. Through this film the entire product range is presented in a realistic and informative way for the very first time.
